Space Marine
I got this interesting figure from ebay. According to the seller and the info comes with the set.  It is made in 1997 by somebody in US and I believed that the maker is no longer in business.  Noted that this one is not those highly detailed and accurate 1/6 custom pieces from the "UNITED STATES COLONIAL MARINES".  Anyway, I spent 2 days to "upgrade" the trooper to give him a more battlefield look.  I am not following the actual outfit appeared in the movie but tried to recreate the trooper from my own imagination

The first 2 pic's shows the original outfit I received. An old 21st TUS with woodland camo outfit, The quality of everything is good, but kinda raw.


I started with the weapons first. Most of the gears looks very fine and I can tell the maker really spent some efforts on them.  Only one thing bothers me - the front part of the Pulse Rifle is too bulky and doesn't look quite right, I ended up changing the whole front part.  I also add the slings for the rifle, flame thrower and the motion tracker and weather all the gears.  Pieces and bits also added during the process; such as the scan screen, tubes, pieces on the tracker and helmet camara...etc
