Better
looking Crushers, a small modi from the Dragon's crushers
I used the crushers in
the new Dragon's officer camo set : -
First, remove the
silver piping, then cut the top along the white piping, cut a suitable
green garment to shape and glue it onto the top, wrap the edge around.
I used the cloth of the 21st German uni for the first experience shown
above.
For the "side" - I
used two pieces of cloths. Again cut the garment to shape and fold the
edges, before gluing the pieces to the cap, remember to cut the "Eagle"
out which it can be used on the crusher again, if not, the front will also
looks bulge.
When finished the gluing,
white elastic band was used for the white piping.
Glue the Eagle back
to the front and now the crusher is better looking with the garment feel.
One further improvement
I did later on : before doing all the above, find a suitable black garment(thicker
prefered), cut it to shape and glue it on the headband of the cap.
The Totenkopf must cut out first, (same reasons for doing that : to avoid
the bulge looking and can use the Totenkopf on the cap again) The reason
for adding an extra layer is because after the green cloth is glude, the
upper part of the crusher doesn't quite match the lower part as it is now
thicker.
So, in order to match,
another layer of the headband should be necessary.
