High Speed Gear Split Chest Vest I noticed this special user design item when I surfed the HSG website a while ago. It is a very interesting item to try in 1/6, one of the advantage is that I can use the BBi's Silverthrone to modify since the loose part price of this particular BBi vest from the local store is very reasonable (around 6.50 USD).  Most of the assembly is done by glue with some stitch here & there for reinforcement.  I found that the most difficult part is not the assembly but disassemble the original vest since the nylon is pretty thin, you just have to be VERY patience to take every part apart........
And a special thanks to Alan (Toy Soldiers) for giving me some of the background of this special vest, thus inspired me to kitbash the figures.  The different setups are probably not 100 percent "accurate", I just think it is fun.
The 1:1 HSG show in their website is camo which I originally want to turn this OD 1/6 into the woodland pattern too but I gave up the ideas as I might do a camo version in the future.  Anyway, click on each picture for different set up, hope you like them ;^)
